Palestinian Aid Charity Project

The situation in Palestine, Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel has been going on since 1948. In October of 2023, it got much worse. Israel began using immense violence to displace Palestinians, harming and killing thousands of people as well as leveling entire cities.

I have done what I can as a U.S. citizen and will continue to do so as time goes on. As a Jew, I absolutely abhor Israel’s actions; I am appalled that a country born of a people that has gone through so much has decided to do the same to another. As an artist, I wanted to do a project that would give me an opportunity to both donate funds and honor Palestine as a nation. I wanted to depict something that could bring both awareness and also joy – there is so much suffering already and I want to do what I can to provide strength and light. Many native species of flora and fauna have been decimated and driven out by Israel and its craving for western assimilation. I decided to make pieces inspired by my Colorado wildlife paintings, featuring plants and animals that are indigenous to the area. I will post pieces for sale here as I finish them. I’m open to further ideas, as well, so if there’s something you’d like to see featured, please let me know.

In order to use my platform to aid Palestine, I will be donating half of all proceeds from the works below to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). This organization can use the funds to aid displaced people in many ways. I encourage you to read more on their website and donate more if you can. I have settled on PRCS myself based on the research I’ve done, but if there are charities that you would also like to see funds go to, please send me a message and I will absolutely look into it. I have listed some articles below on the war and its history – I encourage you to read them, do your own research, and contact your local politicians to demand a ceasefire.
